Tripp Lite has launched the newest addition to its 16-Port NetCommander 1U Rackmount Cat5 KVM Switch, it has been announced.
The company is a leading manufacturer of power protection and connectivity equipment and has introduced the B072-016-1-IP to the switch.
It include on-board IP remote access and enables users to access server components remotely.
David Posner, director of product marketing for connectivity products at Tripp Lite, said: "Our first IP remote access KVM switch was such a hit, we decided to expand the lineup by introducing the B072-016-1-IP.
"Administrators can remotely perform system administration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, installing or running applications, rebooting and more simply with an Internet connection, even if the network is down. Plus, as networks expand, users can easily increase PC control with inexpensive Cat5 patch cables."
