Raritan adds to KVM product line

Raritan India has revealed it has increased its keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) product line to support businesses by adding the MasterConsole CAT switch.

The rack power management supplier has expanded its range in order to help firms implement a cost-effective way of simplifying server maintenance in small and medium-sized server rooms and data centres.

According to Raritan, the new switch supports two simultaneous and independent user sessions as well as providing administrators with lots of flexibility on how and where they work on servers.

One advantage of this is that they can troubleshoot target servers from two different workstations without having to run from rack to rack.

Sanjay Motwani, country manager at Raritan India and MEA, said the KVM technology is useful equipment for administrators.

"The MasterConsole CAT offers flexible and efficient server management at a great price," he stated.

Raritan was established in 1985 and provides Cat5, KVM-over- internet protocol, server and network monitoring.
