Network Technologies, a manufacturer of KVM solutions and network switches, has launched a new KVM drawer with a built in switch.
The RACKMUX SUN USB KVM drawer is made of durable steel and is compatible with all USB-enabled computers, Network Technologies stated.
Combing a rackmount LCD monitor, a USB keyboard and a trackball or touchpad mouse - as well as a USB DVI KVM switch - the product allows users to control up to 16 USB computers from 1RU of rack space.
Thanks to its robust design, the drawer locks into place when opened to prevent it from sliding out of data and server racks. It is also adjustable to various rack depths.
Network Technologies offers a range of other networking products, such as cables and adaptors, video converters and rackmount monitors.
Earlier this month, Minicom launched a new line of remote access KVM switches for use in server rooms and data centres.
