Unitrends has released a new data recovery device which it hopes to sell to small and medium-sized businesses.
The Recovery-610 is a one-unit server rack mountable disk-to-disk machine with 1.5 terabytes of storage.
It uses a Raid-10 configuration and comes with the latest version of the company's new rapid-recovery software.
The Unitrends Release 4.1 is now compatible with 40 operating systems including Windows Server 2008 and Novell's OES products.
Commenting on the device, Rob Moser, chief operating officer of data centre operator Immedion, said: "We are dedicated to keeping our customers' business-critical data and applications available 100 percent of the time."

Writing for technology website Stuff, Dave Thompson said that firms who fear they have lost data on a broken hard disc drive should get a second opinion from a data recovery specialist.
