Data Electronics gets security certification - Server Room Monitoring

Data Electronics gets security certification - Server Room Monitoring Irish firm Data Electronics has received ISO/IEC security certification for its two state-of-the-art data centres.

The certification shows that the company has adequately dealt with data security issues and recognises the company's ongoing investment in security management and controls.

Accreditation approval was bestowed on the firm by the BSI Group following a thorough investigation of the implementation, operation, monitoring, reviewing and maintenance of security standards.

Chief operations officer at Data Electronics Daniel Tinkiel said: "This achievement is down to the hard work of the entire team at Data Electronics, who over the past year have put a huge effort into revising and improving our operational standards.

He added that the internal standards set by the firm were under continual review and were the reason for ensuring the firm maintained the highest possible levels of excellence.

Meanwhile, at the start of May a proposed IT development, which is to be built on a former airfield in Ely, was recognised as Europe's most energy-efficient data centre in Europe.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19186701-ADNFCR
