Meet the Comms Crew Matthew Cooper & Graham Laurence

Meet the Comms Crew: Matthew Cooper and Graham Laurence

In the second of our ‘Meet the Comms Crew’ I am pleased to introduce two more  vital managers here at Comms Express – at least that is what they tell me ! :-)

You may recall last time out we had the pleasure of Andy and Tina answering our quick-fire 20 questions http://bit.ly/16zwvag . Now is the time for Matt Cooper and Graham Laurence to take their turn in the hot chair. Matt is our Web and Marketing Manager and Graham is our Internal Sales Manager. Again two trusted and valued managers and team players.

Matthew Cooper

1. What is your job title at CE?
Web & Marketing Manager

2. How long have you worked at CE?
As of this coming September, 4 years.

3. Best dressed colleague at Comms Express?
You mean other than myself?! :-) I will say fellow ‘Mod’ clothing admirer, Ryan Marshall in the warehouse.

4. What job did you most want to do when you were at school?
I wanted to be a 100m Sprint Runner.

5. Have you ever lied on a CV?
No of course not… that might be a lie though.

6. Best dancer at the CE Christmas party?
Ricky Gould, the boy has got some shapes.

7. The most played song on your iPod?
‘All Along The Watchtower’ by Jimi Hendrix. Never tire of hearing that opening riff.

8. How many friends do you have on Facebook?
Not sure to be honest, something like... 300 odd.

9. The most famous person you follow on Twitter?
Probably Michael Caine.

10. The chore you hate doing most?
‘Doing the Dishes’, I’m longing for the day that I get a dishwasher

11. What super power would you most like?
To turn Super Saiyan

12. Two dream diner guests? (Can be alive or dead)
This is a toughie. I would say George Harrison (The beatles), Steve Marriott (The Small Faces) & if there was room for one more Joe Strummer(The Clash)

13. Your specialist subject on Mastermind?
Music & Film

14. Favourite quotation?
‘If you keep looking backwards, you’ll trip over.’ Michael Caine said that... not alot of people know that...

15. Favourite film?
Fight Club

16. Favourite song?
This is like asking which of your kids is your favourite!.. Right now it's 'I Put A Spell On You' by Screamin' Jay Hawkins.

17. Favourite pastime?
Skiing with my family in Europe

18. Favourite food?
jambalaya

19. Your worst habit?
Being too competitive.

20. Four words that best describe you?
Laidback, creative, passionate, competitive.

Graham Laurence

1. What is your job title at CE?
Internal Sales Manager

2. How long have you worked at CE?
 Almost 8 Years!

3. Best dressed colleague at Comms Express?
Matt ‘I wear Olly Murs’ seconds’ Cooper. And the worst.

4. What job did you most want to do when you were at school?
Internal Sales Manager

5. Have you ever lied on a CV?
Nope! Internet questionnaires on the other hand…

6. Best dancer at the CE Christmas party?
Purchasing Manager extraordinaire Mark ‘Psy’ Jermyn. Unquestionably.

7. The most played song on your iPod? Chicane - Saltwater.
Basically I only use my iPod when I’m running, so according to that I only listen to trance. This is particularly useful 7 miles in when the hill you’ve convinced yourself ‘isn’t going to be so bad’ is turning out to be a lactic acid party, as it inevitably does…

8. How many friends do you have on Facebook?
No idea!

9. The most famous person you follow on Twitter?
Not applicable to me as I’m not one prone to tweeting , but if I was so inclined I should imagine that it doesn’t get more prestigious than the Comms Express feed!

10. The chore you hate doing most?
Cleaning up my cat’s litter tray offerings.

11. What super power would you most like?
Omnipotence would be quite nice.

12. Two dream diner guests? (Can be alive or dead)
Keith Richards and Colonel Sanders

13. Your specialist subject on Mastermind?
Radiohead. I’m a complete geek I’m afraid!

14. Favourite quotation?
Real men don’t eat quiche”

15. Favourite film?
Arrrrrggh, just one?!!! Today it’s The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, but that’s doing a disservice to Aliens, Pulp Fiction, Predator, et al…

16. Favourite song? Arrrrrggh, etc! Today it’s Take 5 by Dave Brubeck Quartet.

17. Favourite pastime?
Though I realise this sends me into David Brent territory, probably ‘playing’ my guitar (still a loose term after 15 years).

18. Favourite food?
Quiche

19. Your worst habit?
Constant whistling & humming. I mean constant…

20. Four words that best describe you?
Really quite bad at maths
